this piece reflects the relationship between what was and what is slowly taking shape. one side carries softer, organic forms inspired by memory, tradition, and the layered textures of the past, while the other moves into straighter lines and geometry --- representing structure, clarity, and becoming.
running between them is a flowing river-like line that acts less like a divide and more like a point of connection. it reflects the passage of time, while holding onto the idea that the old and the new are never completely separate. one continues to exist through the other.
together, they form a continuum --- where memory and emergence exist not in opposition, but in mutual dependence.
