a little note by the founders
ranvek began with a simple idea : to bring embroidery, a traditional art form, into modern living spaces.
in many ways, it’s something we had always been working towards.
coming from two different but closely connected worlds - fashion and interiors - our paths have always circled around materials, textures, and the way design exists within a space. one of us spent years working with textiles and embroidery, while the other worked on shaping spaces through architecture and interior design.
somewhere along the way, these conversations turned into a shared intention. starting something together was always part of the plan - we just didn’t realise that the outcome had been in front of us all along.
ranvek became that meeting point. a space where our individual journeys, and our shared love for design, could come together to create something meaningful.
the name behind ranvek
the name itself is extremely personal to us. ranvek is an amalgamation of our parents’ names - ranjeeta and vivek. growing up, we moved between cities often (six times in seven years!!) before eventually settling in lucknow. through all of it, it was always the four of us, figuring things out together. that sense of closeness, of building something as a unit, has stayed with us.
what started as a name slowly became a reminder of everything that built us — the people, places and memories that shaped the way we see design today.
the people behind the art
today, ranvek is built by the two of us - two sisters, coming from different design worlds but sharing the same love for creating things slowly and intentionally.

but ranvek has never been just the two of us.
a huge part of this journey belongs to our studio helpers, who spend hours bringing our ideas to life through patience, precision and care. and beyond the studio, there is a constant circle of support - family and friends who have cheered us on, helped us figure things out, and believed in this little dream from the beginning.
a special mention to the names that started it all - ran and vek, our parents, and ranvek's grandparents, whose love and support are woven into our very foundation.
and to shubham, ranvek’s dad, for being one of our biggest pillars through this journey - thank you for showing up, always.
